Turkey’s place in Health Tourism?

The number of people visiting another country in the world for health purposes is increasing day by day. Turkey has become a popular country in the field of Health Tourism. It attracts the attention of the citizens of many countries with its geographical structure, climate and quality health services.

60 of the approximately 200 hospitals in the world with JCI (Joint Commission International) conformity certificate are located in Turkey. Turkey has high value resources and hot springs in terms of thermal tourism besides traditional medicine.

What is the health system like in Turkey?

Both State-owned and Private Hospitals and Clinics serve under the control of the Ministry of Health in Turkey. Our company serves you under the guarantee of the state.

Is Health Tourism risky?

Health travel involves the risks of our other travels. According to the risk group of your disease, if the doctors in the place where you live express that you can travel, if we approve your trip as a result of the preliminary evaluation by our doctors according to the results of the examination, we will direct you to the center where you will be treated.

How are visa procedures done?
From the moment you decide to be treated in Turkey, the document you can apply for a visa will be prepared and sent by the health institution where you will be treated. When coming to Turkey, make sure that your passport is valid for at least 90 days. You can stay in our country as a tourist for up to 3 months with a single entry, with limited arrival. However, just in case, by clicking on the website http://www.mfa.gov.tr, you can reach the T.C. Find out about the visa requirements for your country on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs portal. You can also apply to the Turkish Consulates in your country.
How to get Flight ticket?

When the date for your treatment is determined, the necessary flight tickets can be provided by our company in line with your approval or you can buy your flight ticket and share your flight information with us.

How is the hotel reservation?

If you decide on the treatment process, your hotel reservation is made from the closest place to the facility where you will be treated in accordance with your budget.

ATMs, traveler’s checks and credit cards

The banking system in Turkey is well developed. ATM usage is widespread. You can easily use ATMs with English language option. You can cash traveler’s checks at banks, large hotels and currency exchange offices.

Working hours in Turkey

Public holidays in Turkey are Saturday and Sunday. However, many private institutions work until noon on Saturday. Shopping centers are open from 10:00 to 22:00 on weekdays and from 10:00 to 23:00 on weekends. Museums are open to visitors between 09:00 and 17:00 every day except Mondays. Pharmacies work between 09:00 and 19:00 every day, except Sundays. Banks are open between 09:00 and 17:00 on weekdays.

How can I organize my treatment in Turkey?

In order to avoid language problems, we will provide an interpreter to support you during your treatment in Turkey.

May the treatment fee change at the clinic?

The treatment pricing to be created in line with the documents and information you have shared does not change much, diseases requiring treatment other than the specified disease are priced separately.

What should I do after the treatment process is over?

Your doctor will make a list of all the necessary recommendations. Depending on the severity of your illness, you may be advised to stay in Turkey for a while, in line with your doctor’s advice, in order to prevent all possible complications.

Who sees the information I share with you?

The information received from you is not shared with third parties and can only be used by the Hospital where you will be treated.
